DX Installer (Updater/ReInstaller) is an alternative way to install the latest 32-bit or 64-bit versions of DirectX by installing only the missing files.
You can force the reinstallation of all files by checking the "Force ReInstall?" checkbox above the list of components. Please use only if you have problems with DirectX.
DX Installer works much faster than the Microsoft installer, and has much more capabilities than the original installer.
DX Installer includes all files from the original file: "directx_Jun2010_redist.exe", i.e. "DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)".
To verify your version of DirectX, click the Windows Version above the buttons. Your current version and DirectX features can be found under the Display tab.
